BNG-1 in the Recovery of Acute Ischemic Stroke: A phase 2, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Randomized Trial.
CONCLUSIONS: BNG-1 trial was feasible, safe and well tolerated for patients with acute ischemic stroke based on the treatment of aspirin, though there was no statistically significant difference of efficacy between BNG-1 and placebo groups. A further large Phase 3 trial of BNG-1 is needed before recommending such treatments for general clinical use. PMID: 27333830 [PubMed - in process]
