Aim: We investigated the major marine n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in adipose tissue (a biomarker of their long-term endogeneous exposure) in relation to the risk of ischemic stroke.
