Discussion: This trial can clarify the effect of acupuncture-rehabilitation therapy on hippocampal volume and its intervention mechanism on oxidative stress injury in VCI patients with T2DM, and clarify the scientific connotation of its neuroprotective mechanism in the VCI patients with T2DM, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application of acupuncture-rehabilitation therapy in the treatment of VCI. Basilar dolichoectasia with intermural hematoma accompanied by cerebral microbleeds and white matter hyperintensities: A case report
Rationale: The clinical manifestations of basilar dolichoectasia (BD) are variable. The diagnosis is based on imaging measurements. Digital subtraction angiography displays only the dilated vascular lumen and lacks visualization of the arterial wall. High-resolution Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can identify intramural hematoma; therefore, it may be more suitable for the imaging evaluation of BD. Efficacy and safety of mechanical thrombectomy for cardioembolic stroke: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions: The results of our findings may be helpful for clinicians and health professionals to re-examine the clinical decision-making in the treatment of cardioembolic stroke, promising way for treatment of patients with cardioembolic stroke. Incidence and risk factors of leukoaraiosis from 4683 hospitalized patients: A cross-sectional study
This study revealed that the incidence of LA is high in hospitalized patients in China; moreover, age, sex, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, smoking, drinking, and abnormal HCY and LDL-C levels were found to be associated with overall LA risk, LA onset, or LA progression. These results provide insight into strategies for the prevention and treatment of LA.
