Necessity of performing a routine chest radiograph following the insertion of tunnelled Hickman catheter under imaging guidance: A single centre experience
ConclusionGiven the extremely low rate of iatrogenic pneumothorax, chest radiograph following the insertion of a tunnelled Hickman catheter under ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance may be an unnecessary investigation unless the patient is symptomatic, or there is sufficient clinical concern.

Mentoring within the medical radiation sciences - Establishing a national program
The medical radiation sciences are unique in their breadth, from operating theatres, to radiation therapy departments, to fly-in-fly-out ultrasound clinics. So too are our practitioners diverse in their backgrounds, interests, strengths, and experiences. We, the authors, arrived in New South Wales as Radiographers from different states and different countries. Having an outside perspective meant we recognised a need within the profession for a mentoring platform to help practitioners access new spaces, grow as leaders, share knowledge, and build community across our diverse landscape.

Training of radiographers in North Estonia Medical Centre
North Estonia Medical Centre is the largest employer of radiographers in Estonia. Because of the continuous development of the hospital, the need for professional specialists grows year by year. It also acts as a base of practice for students with all radiology modalities represented for radiologytechnology students to apply themselves. Students have an opportunity to connect their studies with practice by working in the field of radiology as an assistant and at the end of studies as radiographer.
