Homoeopathic Management of Allergic Rhinitis: Two Case Reports
This study was undertaken to assess the efficacy of homoeopathic remedies in the treatment of allergic rhinitis, while also proving that totality of symptoms is important for successful treatment of the cases. The suspected cases of allergy were identified on the basis of clinical presentation. Under inclusive criteria, all of the determined cases of allergic rhinitis were selected irrespective of age, sex, socioeconomic status, religion, or occupation. CONCLUSIONS: This case underscores the need for vigilance when prescribing ginkgo biloba extract, particularly in middle-aged and elderly patients. Despite no previous history of allergies and adherence to the prescribed dosage, severe ADR can still occur. Close monitoring of patients within the first 30 minutes of medication administration is crucial.
