A National Cancer Database Analysis of Sinonasal Malignant Myoepithelial Carcinoma Outcomes
DISCUSSION: MECA of the sinonasal cavity is a rare tumor with poorly understood behavior. Data from the NCDB suggests that it is a relatively aggressive tumor with surgical management associated with better outcomes. Unplanned 30-Day ER Visit Rate and Factors Associated With ER Visits After Ambulatory Sinus Surgery
CONCLUSION: The most common reason for ER visit after ambulatory sinus procedures was bleeding. An increased ER visit rate was associated with certain demographic factors and medical comorbidities but not with procedure characteristics.
