Selective Venous Sampling in Primary Hyperparathyroidism: Is it worth doing?
CONCLUSION: Selective venous sampling is a prominent technique with high accuracy in persistent cases when the conventional imaging methods are negative or equivocal. Delirium, dementia, and depression (3D) assessment of older patients in the emergency department: 5-year survival analysis
DISCUSSION: Aside from the medical and surgical issues of geriatric patients, the prevalences of dementia and depression are much higher than expected in the emergency department. Delirium was a predictor for 6-month and 5-year mortality. We suggest that EDs should have screening tools for geriatric 3D mental health disorders to increase the quality of life for the geriatric population.PMID:36161628 | DOI:10.55730/1300-0144.5325
