Assessment of hand hygiene compliance after hand hygiene education among health care workers in Cambodia.
This study aimed to introduce hand hygiene to health care workers based on the World Health Organization guideline for reducing HCAI in Cambodia and to assess their behavioral patterns on hand hygiene. All health care workers at Kampong Cham provincial hospital had lectures and practice on hand hygiene in January 2012. Trends in attrition among medical teaching staff at universities in Myanmar 2009-2013.
This study was conducted to investigate the attrition rates of teaching staff from universities for medical professions in Myanmar from 2009 to 2013. The data were collected from administrative records from Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Health, Myanmar. Numbers of staff and those who permanently left work (attrition) from 2009 to 2013 were counted. Development and validation of a chronic disease nursing education program for enhancing clinical reasoning ability in undergraduate nursing students.
This study developed a chronic disease nursing educational program to enhance clinical reasoning in nursing students and then tested it for effectiveness. Before and after completing the program's five 90-minute sessions, 54 second-year students in a four-year nursing degree program at a university completed a self-administered survey to evaluate their clinical reasoning ability. Differences in gaze behaviors between trainees and experts during endovascular therapy for cerebral aneurysms: a preliminary study using a cerebral aneurysm model
This study aimed to apply eye-tracking technology to the training of neuroendovascular therapy. Six neurosurgeons, including three neuroendovascular specialists and three trainees, at our institution and related facilities participated in the study. Eye movement was recorded by the eye-tracking device during the microcatheter navigation and coil placement into the silastic aneurysm model under biplane X-ray fluoroscopy.
