Effects of adenosine receptor antagonists in MPTP mouse model of Parkinson's disease: mitochondrial DNA integrity.
CONCLUSIONS: The current results provide evidence that blockade of both ADRsA1 and ADRsA2A has therapeutic implications in alleviating MPTP-induced motor and cognitive dysfunction and might be a promising candidate for treatment of PD. PMID: 28507584 [PubMed]

Health-related quality of life (Nottingham Health Profile) in patients with endometriomas: correlation with clinical variables and self-reported limitations.
Conclusions: Since the stage of endometriosis does not correlate with subjective complaints, it seems that an additional routine evaluation of quality of life, including an assessment of the severity of the disease, is warranted. Routine use of the Nottingham Health Profile Questionnaire in patients with endometriosis can improve also the assessment of the treatment. PMID: 32399106 [PubMed]

Safety, efficacy, length of stay and patient satisfaction with outpatient management of low-risk pulmonary embolism patients - a meta-analysis.
Conclusions: In conclusion, our meta-analysis of 2 randomized controlled trials shows that low-risk pulmonary embolism patients can safely be discharged from the emergency departments in the limited studies available. We need more randomized controlled trials to confirm these findings. PMID: 33488878 [PubMed]
