Severe asthma in children: shall we carry out systematic bronchoalveolar lavage?
This study aims at deciphering if a systematic BAL during a flexible bronchoscopy procedure could improve phenotyping severe asthma. Secondary objectives were to evaluate BAL impact on asthma control and on flexible bronchoscopy morbidity.Patients and methods: The study was held in two departments of Armand Trousseau University Hospital in Paris, France.
