A causal relationship between irritability and cardiovascular diseases: a Mendelian randomization study
CONCLUSION: Our findings support the first genetic evidence of the causality of genetically predicted irritability with the risk of developing into CVDs. Can a Single Measurement of Apixaban Levels Identify Patients at Risk of Overexposure? A Prospective Cohort Study
Conclusion The trough and peak levels of apixaban in patients who have a high level on a single occasion, usually remain high when the assay is repeated in 2 months. Efficacy and Safety Considerations With Dose-Reduced Direct Oral Anticoagulants: A Review
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: Dose adjustment and low-intensity treatment are 2 different forms of dose-reduced DOACs. Dose adjustment is mostly relevant for AF and should be done based on the approved criteria. Dose adjustment of DOACs should not be used for acute VTE treatment in most cases. In contrast, low-intensity DOACs may be used for primary or secondary VTE prevention for studied and approved indications. Joint Genetic Inhibition of PCSK9 and CETP and the Association With Coronary Artery Disease: A Factorial Mendelian Randomization Study
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: Our results suggest that joint inhibition of CETP and PCSK9 has additive effects on lipid traits and disease risk, including a lower risk of CAD. Conclusions In individuals without a history of stroke or transient ischemic attack, alterations of LA structure and function, including enlargement, reduced strain, frequent premature atrial contractions, and intermittent AF, were associated with increased markers of small vessel disease. Telomere length and the risk of cardiovascular diseases: A Mendelian randomization study
CONCLUSION: Our MR study suggested that longer telomeres were associated with decreased risk of several CVDs, including coronary atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, ischemic heart disease, and stroke, as well as an increased risk of hypertension.
