Impact of anemia on in ‐hospital complications after ischemic stroke
ConclusionAnemia is an independent predictor of in‐hospital complications following stroke, especially for pneumonia, GIB and thromboembolism. Whether prophylaxis and treatment of anemia would prevent in‐hospital complications remains to be studied. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

Characteristics Associated with Outcome in First ‐Ever Posterior Fossa Stroke Patients
ConclusionInfarct volume and clinical severity, but not infarct location were the main contributors to poor long‐term outcome in first‐ever posterior fossa strokes. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

Intravenous thrombolysis for acute ischaemic stroke in patients on direct oral anticoagulants Expert opinion of the Societe Francaise de Neurologie Vasculaire (SFNV) French Vascular Neurology Society and the Groupe Francais d'etudes sur l'Hemostase et la Thrombose (GFHT) French study Group on Haemostasis and Thrombosis
ConclusionsIn this expert opinion paper, we suggest that IVT can be performed in patients selected according to the time elapsed since the drug was last taken, renal function, type of hospital where the patient is admitted and plasma concentration of DOAC.This article is protected by copyright. Unknown ‐Onset Strokes with Anterior Circulation Occlusion treated by Thrombectomy after DWI‐FLAIR Mismatch Selection
ConclusionThrombectomy of UOS with anterior circulation occlusion and DWI‐FLAIR mismatch appears to be as safe and efficient as thrombectomy of KOS within 6 hours from onset. This pattern of imaging could be used for patient selection when time of onset is unknown. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

Perfusion CT in Posterior Circulation Stroke: Predictors and Prognostic Implications of Focal Hypoperfusion
ConclusionsIn posterior circulation stroke patients undergoing acute CTP, multiple clinical, etiological and radiological variables were associated with focal hypoperfusion. Patients with focal hypoperfusion had a worse 12 months outcome. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
