Prevalence of hs-CRP among Indians with hypertension
Bioinformation. 2022 Oct 31;18(10):1041-1043. doi: 10.6026/973206300181041. eCollection 2022.ABSTRACTThe prevalence of hypertension in the early twentieth century varied in India, ranging from 2-15% in Urban India and 2-8% in Rural India. In the inter heart and inter stroke study, hypertension accounted for 17.9% and 34.6% of population attributable risk for coronary artery disease and stroke respectively. CRP appears in serum in response to a variety of inflammatory stimuli .Raised level of hs-CRP is seen with increasing with age, during an infection, inflammation, coronary artery diseases, obesity, sepsis, smoking and va...

P136/338 Intracranial vessel wall imaging - A tertiary centre initial experience
ConclusionOur centre’s experience recognises the role of MR-VWI in the imaging of ischaemic stroke, as well as its potential in management of acute unstable intracranial aneurysm. Clinical-radiological correlation remains imperative and emphasis is placed on understanding the potential technical pitfall of MR-VWI.Disclosure of InterestNothing to disclose for all authors

Incidental findings on FDG-PET/CT in large vessel vasculitis
This study aims to determine the number and type of incidental findings detected on positron emission tomography (PET)/CT in a cohort of patients with large vessel vasculitis (LVV). Reports from PET/CT studies along with the medical charts of a cohort of patients with LVV from a Rheumatology clinic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, were retrospectively reviewed. Incidental findings from PET/CT, along with follow-up studies and their diagnosis were documented. The data was analyzed with descriptive statistics. The disease activity of 40 patients, with an average age of 65.8  years, was investigated using PET/CT. A statisticall...

Diagnostic Value of Vessel Wall Imaging to Determine the Timing of Extracranial ‒Intracranial Bypass for Moyamoya Syndrome Associated with Active Sjögren's Syndrome: A Case Report
Conclusions Our findings emphasize the diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced MR-VWI in monitoring the effect of immunosuppressive therapy for the major cerebral artery vasculitis and in determining the timing of EC–IC bypass as a “rescue” treatment for moyamoya syndrome associated with active Sjögren's syndrome.
