Effect of comorbidities on ischemic stroke mortality: An analysis of the National Inpatient Sample (NIS) Database

The reverse question mark and L.G. Kempe incisions for decompressive craniectomy: A case series and narrative review of the literature
CONCLUSION: The utility of the LGK incision is comparable with the classic RQM incision to treat acute brain injuries, where an urgent decompression must be performed. Some of these cases include malignant ischemic strokes, ICH, and empyema. Clinical outcome prediction in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage - Alterations in brain-body interface.
CONCLUSIONS: Using the aforementioned results generated from binary logistic regression models, we can identify potential patients who are in the high risk group of neurological deterioration. Specific therapies can be tailored to prevent these detriments, including treatment of hypertension, seizures, early detection and treatment of myocardial infarction, and prevention of hepatic encephalopathy.
