Conclusions: UA was a protective factor for stroke severity and in-hospital complications such as pneumonia, poor swallow function, gastrointestinal bleeding, and DVT. Safety of Low Dose Intravenous Cangrelor in Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Case Series
Conclusion: Low dose intravenous cangrelor is similar in safety and efficacy to oral antiplatelets in acute ischemic stroke in a small case series. Larger prospective studies on the efficacy, safety, and effect on procedure times of intravenous cangrelor in neurointervention are warranted.

Anticoagulation Therapy Reduces Recurrent Stroke in Embolic Stroke of Undetermined Source Patients With Elevated Coagulation Markers or Severe Left Atrial Enlargement
Conclusions: Anticoagulation therapy in a subgroup of ESUS patients with abnormal MOCHA or severe LAE may be associated with a reduced rate of recurrent stroke compared to antiplatelet therapy. A prospective, randomized study is warranted to validate these results.

Prognostic Value of Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio in Stroke: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Conclusions: This study demonstrated that elevated NLR was significantly associated with poor prognosis of stroke patients. High NLR is associated with a 1.1- to 1.3-fold increased risk of poor outcomes of AIS/AHS patients. Predictors and Prognosis of Symptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage in Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients Without Thrombolysis: Analysis of Data From the Chinese Acute Ischemic Stroke Treatment Outcome Registry
Conclusion: sICH occurred in 0.73% of acute ischemic stroke patients without thrombolysis and was associated with a worse prognosis at 3 and 12 months. Atrial fibrillation, history of tumors, and NIHSS score at admission were independent risk factors of sICH.

Safety and Efficacy of Endovascular Treatment for Progressive Stroke in Patients With Acute Basilar Artery Occlusion
Conclusions: EVT was more effective and safer than SMT for progressive stroke in patients with BAO. Besides, EVT remains safe and effective in patients with progressive stroke when the treatment time window exceeds 6 h. Predictors of desirable outcome in progressive stroke patients undergoing EVT included lower baseline NIHSS score, higher baseline pc-ASPECTs, successful recanalization and shorter puncture to recanalization time.
