Meningeal Disease Masquerading as Transient Ischemic Attack
Conclusions: Our study confirmed that serious meningeal disease could present as TIA, but this disease was relatively uncommon among patients treated in a TIA clinic. The findings highlight the diagnostic value of MRI in patients with suspected TIA.

Potential of Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound for Intracranial Hemorrhage: An In Vivo Feasibility Study
Conclusions: Our results demonstrate the feasibility of fast, efficient, and safe thrombolysis in an in vivo porcine model of ICH and in 2 ex vivo models using a human skull, without introducing tPA. Future studies will further optimize parameters and assess the nature of sonication-mediated versus natural clot lysis, the risk of rebleeding, the potential effect on the adjacent parenchyma, and the chemical and toxicity profiles of resulting lysate particles.

Cranioplasty and Duraplasty with Transcranial Color-Coded Duplex Sonography after Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
Transcranial color-coded duplex sonography (TCCS) is a noninvasive technique for monitoring of cerebral vasospasm after neurosurgery for aneurismal subarachnoid hemorrhage. In this surgery, surgical materials are used. The goal of the study was to identify materials that can be used with ultrasound and to propose methods for cranioplasty and duraplasty using materials that permit TCCS.

Intracranial Hemorrhage Diagnosed with Transcranial Ultrasound in a Comatose, Postliver Transplant Patient
We report a case of an intracranial hemorrhage first suspected during a trans-cranial Doppler assessment of a postorthotopic liver transplant patient. The patient was at considerable risk of bleeding, due to a primary graft nonfunction, but he had also elevated ammonium levels, justifying the comatose state, and no focal neurological deficits.
