Association between caveolin-1 and stroke: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
CONCLUSIONS: Although the differences are not statistically significant between the two groups, the high level of caveolin-1 are associated with the stroke, which may remedy the stroke. Besides, an opposite result was observed for the association of the caveolin-1 on the ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. To confirm this association, further studies are necessary. Thrombolysis in acute stroke without angiographically documented occlusion.
CONCLUSIONS: IAT using UK can be a safe and efficacious therapy for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke in patients without angiographic occlusion. Approximately 75% of these patients had a favorable clinical outcome and thrombolysis-related symptomatic hemorrhage was low. PMID: 28429356 [PubMed - in process]

Low-dose intravenous recombinant tissue plasminogen activator in acute ischemic stroke without large vessel occlusion screened by 3T MRI
CONCLUSIONS: Our study indicates the efficacy and safety of low-dose rTPA treatment for AIS without LVO within 4.5 hours. Patient selection for rTPA by 3T MRI decreased complications and mortality.PMID:37522667 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202307_33126
