E-107 Carotid artery stenting in patients with symptomatic non-stenotic carotid artery disease - a case series
ConclusionsIn this case series performed over a 10-year period at a high-volume stroke center we show that CAS is safe and efficient in patients with SyNC. Previous studies have established safety and effectiveness of CES in patients presenting with SyNC, however there is a paucity of reports in the literature regarding the effect of CAS in this patient population. Recent guidelines have brought specific attention to high-risk plaque characteristics which suggest that plaque instability plays a major role in the onset of ischemic events, regardless of lumen narrowing. Advanced imaging techniques, such as Optical Coherence ...

E-142 A new graphical interface to capture quantitative venous outflow metrics
ConclusionsOur newly developed graphical interface allows users to output quantitative metrics that may represent AIF and VOF. These metrics should be checked against existing scales for association and performance.Abstract E-142 Figure 1Disclosures G. Adusumilli: None. S. Christensen: 2; C; iSchemaView. 4; C; iSchemaView. E-150 Mechanical thrombectomy in distal middle cerebral artery occlusions using a novel blind exchange mini-pinning technique: experience in 7 consecutive cases
ConclusionBlind mini-pinning allows for combined use of distal stentriever with a 035 thrombectomy catheter, affording a larger ID than traditional microcatheter engagement of the thrombus with enhanced stability for removal, and improved reperfusion rates in distal occlusions. This technique may be efficacious for the treatment of distal occlusions and further studies are needed to compare outcomes in distal occlusions.Abstract E-150 Figure 1(A) Deployment and blind mini-pinning navigation of 035 aspiration catheter (blue) through 071 (black) and 088 thrombectomy catheter (orange) into the M2 segment with follow-up angiog...

E-152 Cone-beam CT angiogram acquisition in the angiography suite for LVO detection in acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionDTAS triage workflow with cone-beam head CT and CTA image acquisition in the angiography suite may be a next step to further optimize LVO stroke pathways by bypassing conventional CT/MR. This new workflow has the potential to further decrease door-to-needle times and thereby may improve patient outcome.Disclosures A. Kuhn: None. J. Singh: None. M. Garcia: None. S. Sarid: None. M. O-010 Tigertriever in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke in patients with underlying intracranial atherosclerotic disease
ConclusionTigertriever exerts a higher radial force that can be manually tailored to achieve better recanalization in patients with LVO due to ICAD.ReferenceGupta R, Saver JL, Levy E, et al. O-012 Relationship between clot composition and procedural results for ischemic stroke aspiration thrombectomy: subset analysis from the INSIGHT registry
ConclusionsClot removed during neuroendovascular procedures can differ in consistency and removability, leading to an increased focus on thrombus composition as a crucial variable for improving outcomes of ischemic stroke. In this study, good final revascularization (mTICI 2b-3 at the final angiogram) occurred after aspiration thrombectomy regardless of clot composition. Ongoing analysis of collected specimens is expected to provide valuable information regarding thrombus biology and etiology and to aid in diagnosis, prognosis, and drug development.Abstract O-012 Table 1Clot composition vs procedural results for ischemic s...

O-017 Viz LVO versus rapid LVO in detection of large vessel occlusion on computed tomography angiography for acute stroke
ConclusionViz LVO and Rapid LVO had similar NPV, but Rapid LVO produced a significantly larger number of false positive values. False positive values can be a source of alarm desensitization, leading to missed alarms or delayed responses. EF and intracranial atherosclerosis were significant predictors of incorrect predictions in both software packages. We hope this data will be used to improve future algorithms.Disclosures A. O-063 First U.S. multicenter experience using the pipeline flex embolization device with shield technology for treatment of intracranial aneurysms
ConclusionOur study is the first to report the early experience with the newly FDA-approved PED Flex with Shield technology amongst US centers. Our results are comparable with non-US, international studies showing a high technical success rate and safe peri-procedural angiographic and patient outcome. P-005 Predictors for large vessel recanalization before stroke thrombectomy

E-006 U.S. health care system-wide transition from alteplase to tenecteplase before mechanical thrombectomy: functional outcomes, early reperfusion rates, intracranial bleeding and femoral access site complications

E-044 Long-term safety and efficacy of pipeline embolization device compared in anterior and posterior circulation aneurysms: a systematic review and meta-analysis
ConclusionThe long-term occlusion rate after PED was higher in AC aneurysms and the cumulative incidence of ischemic complications and aneurysm rupture was significantly higher in PC. The intracranial hemorrhage rate was not different. More extensive studies are required to identify factors predisposing to incomplete occlusion and postprocedural complications.Disclosures E.
