A 68-year-old man with a medical history of hypertension was admitted to the emergency department for diffuse abdominal pain preceded by bloody diarrhea. Upon admission, neurological examination was normal, but he suddenly developed a left-sided hemiparesis. After a normal brain computed tomography, intravenous thrombolysis was administered for a suspicion of ischemic stroke.
