Despite lacking aphasia seen with left hemisphere (LH) infarcts involving the middle cerebral artery territory, right hemisphere (RH) strokes can result in significant difficulties in affective prosody. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an important cause of stroke, more than a half the cases present as acute ischemic stroke. Thrombolysis is an effective choice in most cases, but for large vessel occlusion, mechanical thrombectomy is more effective. Study for cerebral central network mechanism of acupuncture stimulation quantity based on changes of cerebral functional connection of fMRI
Conclusion:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the central mechanism of acupuncture stimulation quantity using time and frequency as control conditions. This study will provide reasonable stimulation parameters and strong mechanism evidence of cerebral central network for the use of acupuncture for ischemic stroke.

Association of serum vaspin, apelin, and visfatin levels and stroke risk in a Chinese case-control study
Adipose tissue acts as an active endocrine organ secreting a number of adipokines and may be involved in biological mechanism of stroke. Vaspin, apelin, and visfatin play important roles in the regulation of vascular disorders.
Our aim was to evaluate whether the concentrations of vaspin, apelin, and visfatin were associated with stroke risk.

Association between lncRNA ANRIL genetic variants with the susceptibility to ischemic stroke: From a case-control study to meta-analysis

Does CYP2C19 polymorphisms affect neurological deterioration in stroke/TIA patients?: A systematic review and meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies
Conclusions:
This meta-analysis demonstrated that the carriers of CYP2C19∗2, ∗3 loss-of-function alleles have an increased risk of neurological deterioration compared to non-carriers in stroke or TIA patients. Additionally, CYP2C19∗17 gain-of-function allele can reduce the risk of neurological deterioration.

Chinese herbal injections combined with rt-PA intravenous thrombolysis for acute ischemic stroke: A systematic review and meta-analysis protocol
Conclusion:
The conclusion of the meta-analysis will provide a basis for judging whether CHIs combined with intravenous thrombolysis is an effective measure for the treatment of AIS.
