Longitudinal assessment of anxiety/depression rates and their related predictive factors in acute ischemic stroke patients: A 36-month follow-up study
This study aimed at investigating the longitudinal changes of poststroke anxiety/depression rates, and their potential risk factors in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients.
A total of 250 first diagnosis of AIS patients were enrolled and followed for 36 months. Anxiety/depression of patients were assessed using hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS) at month (M) 0 (M0) and then every 3 months till M36.

Efficacy of escitalopram oxalate for patients with post-stroke depression
This retrospective study investigated the efficacy and safety of escitalopram oxalate (ESO) for the treatment of post-stroke depression (PSD).
A total of 115 patients with PSD were included in this study. A total of 65 patients underwent ESO (Intervention group). A total of 50 patients received acupressure (Control group). The outcome measurements included Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS), Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), and Sheehan Disability Scale (SDS).
