Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors for functional independence and depression prevention in early stage of post-stroke: A meta-analysis
Conclusions: Our meta-analysis revealed that early SSRIs therapy were effective to prevent post-stroke depression. However, SSRIs did not improve patient's post-stroke functional independence. In addition to increase the occurrence of seizure and nausea, SSRIs were relatively safe.

Relationship between the anxiety/depression and care burden of the major caregiver of stroke patients
This study used a cross-sectional survey design and convenience sampling. Totally, 117 caregivers of stroke patients were enrolled. Data were collected from questionnaires. Hamilton anxiety scale, Hamilton depression scale, and Zarit caregiver burden interview were performed. Multiple linear regression and correlation analysis were used. The anxiety score, depression score and total burden score of 117 stroke caregivers were 16.56 ± 8.02, 18.63 ± 9.39, and 25.88 ± 10.35, respectively. Traditional Chinese medicine for post-stroke depression: A systematic review and network meta-analysis (Protocol)
Conclusion: Our study will generate evidence for TCM in the treatment of PSD and help to reduce the uncertainty about the effectiveness of PSD management, which will encourage further suggestions for TCM clinical practice or guideline.

Effect of ankle-foot orthosis on functional mobility and dynamic balance of patients after stroke: Study protocol for a randomized controlled clinical trial
