Risk Factors of Recurrent Stroke in Young and Middle-Aged Stroke Patients after Interventional Therapy
CONCLUSION: Blood glucose, blood lipid, blood pressure, age, and living habits have an impact on recurrent stroke in young and middle-aged patients after interventional therapy. Therefore, while strictly controlling blood glucose, blood lipid, and blood pressure, patients should improve their living habits and enhance the awareness of prevention after interventional therapy.PMID:35509854 | PMC:PMC9061004 | DOI:10.1155/2022/5728991

Comparing Strategies to Prevent Stroke and Ischemic Heart Disease in the Tunisian Population: Markov Modeling Approach Using a Comprehensive Sensitivity Analysis Algorithm.
Conclusions: The primary prevention of cardiovascular disease via a reduction in dietary salt consumption appeared much more effective than secondary or tertiary prevention approaches. Our simple but comprehensive model offers a potentially attractive methodological approach that might now be extended and replicated in other contexts and populations. Surveillance of cardiovascular diseases using a multivariate dynamic screening system
In the SHARe Framingham Heart Study of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, one major task is to monitor several health variables (e.g., blood pressure and cholesterol level) so that their irregular longitudinal pattern can be detected as soon as possible and some medical treatments applied in a timely manner to avoid some deadly cardiovascular diseases (e.g., stroke). To handle this kind of applications effectively, we propose a new statistical methodology called multivariate dynamic screening system (MDySS) in this paper. The MDySS method combines the major strengths of the multivariate longitudinal data analysi...

Clinical Features of Acute Coronary Syndrome in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Its Correlation with Tumour Necrosis Factor in Cardiology
Comput Math Methods Med. 2022 Jun 30;2022:3439768. doi: 10.1155/2022/3439768. eCollection 2022.ABSTRACTTumour necrosis factor (TNF) levels are higher in patients who have experienced an acute ischemic stroke. Greater levels of TNF may not be linked to an increased risk of recurrent coronary events in the stable phase after myocardial ischemia (MI). Coronary atheroma is connected to endothelial and smooth muscle cells, as well as macrophages that emit the multifunctional cytokine tumour necrosis factor (TNF). Transplanted tumours become more vulnerable when TNF-α was first recognized to have a function in hemorrhagic necro...
