Early Outcomes After Branched and Fenestrated Endovascular Aortic Repair in Octogenarians.
CONCLUSIONS: Complex endovascular repair in octogenarians has higher early all cause mortality compared with non-octogenarians. Rupture and higher ASA class of ≥4 are independent predictors for early mortality. Age ≥80 years was found to be an independent predictor for higher early all cause mortality. Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Physician Modified Endografts for Treatment of Thoraco-Abdominal and Complex Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms
CONCLUSION: Physician modified fenestrated or branched grafts for endovascular aortic repair seems feasible and safe in the short-term follow-up. However, the quality of the available data is low which highlights the need for better and more accurate data regarding this technique.PMID:35483575 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejvs.2022.04.015
