Dabigatran: A new oral anticoagulant. Guidelines to follow in oral surgery procedures. A systematic review of the literature.
Conclusions: Currently, there is no consensus on the procedure to be followed in patients taking dabigatran. However, all authors agree to treat each case individually in accordance to the risk of embolism, postoperative bleeding and renal function. Complications in the use of the mandibular body, ramus and symphysis as donor sites in bone graft surgery. A systematic review.
CONCLUSIONS: The analyzed results show a higher prevalence and severity of complications when using mandibular symphysis bone grafts, producing more discomfort for the patient. Association of susceptible genotypes to periodontal disease with the clinical outcome and tooth survival after non-surgical periodontal therapy: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Immediate bleeding complications in dental implants: A systematic review.
Conclusions: It's important to pay special attention when the implants are placed in the mandibular anterior zone, especially if long implants are used. Efficacy of platelet-rich plasma applied to post-extraction retained lower third molar alveoli. A systematic review.
