Synchronous development of prostate sarcoma and squamous cell carcinoma following radiotherapy
We present the case of a 78-year-old patient with a remote history of prostate adenocarcinoma, status post brachytherapy, who subsequently developed both prostate sarcoma and prostate squamous cell carcinoma secondary to the prior treatment. Because his cancer was metastatic, he was not a candidate for surgery and was treated with chemotherapy and palliative radiation.PMID:35261467 | PMC:PMC8865295 | DOI:10.1080/08998280.2021.1994909

Multiple rim-enhancing brain lesions and pulmonary cavitary nodules as the presentation of < em > Nocardia cyriacigeorgica < /em > in a patient with non-small cell lung cancer

Disseminated nocardiosis has a high mortality rate, making prompt detection and treatment paramount for these patients. Our case highlights the importance of cons...
