Plasma Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor and Opioid Therapy: Results of Pilot Cross-Sectional Study
Conclusion: Chronic opioid therapy for noncancer pain induces specific changes in the BDNF concentration. Tramadol and buprenorphine exerted an important effect on BDNF levels in the examined patients.
