Tube feeding in patients with dementia is associated with a longer palliative care unit stay
CONCLUSION: The present study showed that, in patients with an established diagnosis of dementia, TF is common and independently associated with a longer length of PCU stay. A cross-sectional study to assess the association between major depression and inflammatory markers in patients with acute ischemic stroke.
Conclusion: This study suggests that in patients who have experienced AIS, there is no significant relationship between major depression and basal proinflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1 β, IL-18), BDNF, and NSE. PMID: 31142907 [PubMed]
