Betamethasone Dipropionate Derivatization, Biotransformation, Molecular Docking, and ADME Analysis as Glucocorticoid Receptor
Biomed Res Int. 2022 Jul 6;2022:6865472. doi: 10.1155/2022/6865472. eCollection 2022.ABSTRACTBetamethasone is an important glucocorticoids (GCs), frequently used to cure allergies (such as asthma and angioedema), Crohn's disease, skin diseases (such as dermatitis and psoriasis), systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatic disorders, and leukemia. Present investigation deals to find potential agonist of glucocorticoid receptors after biotransformation of betamethasone dipropionate (1) and to carry out the molecular docking and ADME analyses. Biotransformation of 1 was carried out with Launaea capitata (dandy) roots and Musa acu...

A Diagnostic Dilemma: Sometimes You ’ ll Never Know
Discussion It can be difficult to consider what is the problem when a health care provider is presented with a group of seemingly disparate signs and symptoms with a history and time course that do not match classic (or commonly atypical) disease presentations. Common things happen commonly, so when symptoms occur without the usual co-occurring symptoms, unusual symptoms or time courses, it can be challenging. The provider must develop a reasonable differential diagnosis and balance how far to go with the evaluation against how much to monitor the patient for new signs or symptoms which can provide new information. Patient...

Cesarean Section and Chronic Immune Disorders
This study analyzed the potential association of delivery by cesarean delivery with immune disorders to investigate the potential influence cesarean deliveries could have on development of such conditions. Data from registries in Denmark were used to identify children born between 1977 and 2012. Data were collected on mode of delivery as well as other variables, and the association with several immune diseases was analyzed. The data set included 2 million children over that 35-year period. Nine diseases and 8 confounders were analyzed. The effects of cesarean versus vaginal birth were investigated, and all data were analyz...
