Predictors of Survival in Patients With Ischemic Stroke and Active Cancer: A Prospective, Multicenter, Observational Study
Conclusions The prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke and active cancer varied considerably depending on stroke mechanism, distant metastasis, and coagulation abnormalities. Comparison of Clinical Features, Immune-Inflammatory Markers, and Outcomes Between Patients with Acute In-Hospital and Out-of-Hospital Ischemic Stroke
CONCLUSION: Patients with IHIS had more complicated clinical features, higher levels of immune-inflammatory markers, and higher rates of mortality than patients with OHIS. Recurrent Strokes as the First Presentation of Occult Pancreatic Cancer; Trousseau Syndrome: A Case Report
We present a case of a 64-year-old female with recurrent ischemic stroke of unknown cause and involving different arterial territories, who was discovered to have metastatic pancreatic cancer. The initial workup with brain imaging revealed multiple acute/subacute ischemic strokes and a negative cardiac assessment. Vertebral artery stenosis predicts cerebrovascular diseases following radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Nuts and seeds consumption and risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and their risk factors: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: There is a probable relationship between consumption of nuts/seeds and lower risk of CVD, mostly driven by CHD, possibly in part through effects on blood lipids.
