Differences in Resumption of Orthopedic Surgery According to Characteristics of Surgery during COVID-19 Pandemic: National Registry Data
CONCLUSIONS: The number of orthopedic surgeries, which had decreased due to COVID-19, tended to recover over time, although the pandemic was still ongoing. However, the degree of resumption differed according to the characteristics of surgery. 15 Million Americans Could Lose Medicaid Coverage as Pandemic-Era Policy Ends
Some 15 million people could lose their Medicaid coverage over the next few months as pandemic-related emergency provisions come to an end—though residents in five states will feel its impact earlier than others. During the pandemic, the yearly reapplication process for Medicaid was paused and states stopped checking if people were still eligible for its coverage. But starting April 1, people in Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, New Hampshire and South Dakota could see their loss of healthcare coverage as Medicaid begins to verify eligibility and will begin to disenroll patients. Epidemiologic and Clinical Features of < em > Campylobacter < /em > Enteritis Before and During COVID-19 in Korea
CONCLUSION: Although the prevalence of bacterial and viral enteritis have decreased in COVID-19, Campylobacter enteritis has increased in all age groups and in rural areas compared to urban areas.
