SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Children with Idiopathic Nephrotic Syndrome: A Multicentric Study
Indian Pediatr. 2023 May 15;60(5):407-408.ABSTRACTA multicenter retrospective study was conducted to assess the clinical spectrum of 30 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)-positive children with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome. Difficult to treat nephrotic syndrome was found to be a high-risk group with a high incidence of acute kidney injury and mortality.PMID:37161958

Serum Amyloid A Levels and Severity of COVID-19 in Children
CONCLUSIONS: Although SAA level was found to be higher in children with COVID 19 compared to healthy controls, the sensitivity of SAA for the disease was found to be low. In addition, there was no difference between the groups in terms of clinical severity.PMID:36916361
