Follow-up on Remsen Fire and Building Access
There was a fire on the seventh floor of Remsen early Sunday morning. The fire was extinguished by the combination of sensor-activated sprinklers in the building and local fire departments. Damage from the fire was limited to one room, although there is substantial water damage throughout the building. Today, access to Remsen and Vail remains prohibited to everyone, as damage assessment work continues, and cleaning and repair begins. Vail and Kellogg will reopen on Monday, February 27.
