Quality characteristics and relevance to care of psychodynamic training outpatient clinics:The QVA Project
Discussion: This paper describes an easy-to-implement data-based QA system for psychodynamic training outpatient clinics, while at the same time allowing for the examination of healthcare- relevant questions in a large sample. The first experiences show that the system works technically stable and was well-received by the participating outpatient clinics.PMID:37830882 | DOI:10.13109/zptm.2023.69.oa4 (Source: Zeitschrift fur Psychosomatische Medizin und Psychotherapie)

How can resilience be described in a process-oriented view and does this have significance for psychotherapy? A qualitative study
Conclusions: Based on the categories, a working definition for a process-oriented resilience model is created. The categories show proximity to known elements and goals of psychotherapy. The reinterpretation of resilience as a process of conscious "moving forward" (Yahuda) instead of an unattainable "hero ideal" can be helpful for psychotherapy patients.PMID:37830883 | DOI:10.13109/zptm.2023.69.oa3 (Source: Zeitschrift fur Psychosomatische Medizin und Psychotherapie)

Post-COVID and ME/CFS - DoWe Need New Disease Theories?
Conclusions: Incorporating these newer theories of perception and behavior could provide a more helpful perspective on phenomena such as fatigue, leading to improved therapeutic support measures, all without contributing to premature attributions of "psychological" causes and the associated risk of stigmatization.PMID:37830884 | DOI:10.13109/zptm.2023.69.oa7 (Source: Zeitschrift fur Psychosomatische Medizin und Psychotherapie)

Psychotherapeutic inpatient depression treatment in open versus closed group format
Conclusion: While group cohesion improved in the closed format only, we did not find any significant difference between group formats regarding their efficacy. Further research should focus on randomized controlled trials comparing both formats directly.PMID:37830880 | DOI:10.13109/zptm.2023.69.oa6 (Source: Zeitschrift fur Psychosomatische Medizin und Psychotherapie)

Perception, experience and use of moments of change - a qualitative investigation
Conclusions: The intensification of consciousness, transformation of self-experience, and intense prototypical experience of a change process appeared particularly impressive. With the help of CMs, access could be gained to an embodied and implicit experience, which could subsequently be symbolised and used as an "experience anchor". This could be useful especially for the treatment of psychosomatic patients.PMID:37830881 | DOI:10.13109/zptm.2023.69.oa5 (Source: Zeitschrift fur Psychosomatische Medizin und Psychotherapie)
