CONCLUSION: In patients with a clot volume of 15 cm3 and GCS of 15 at presentation with no mass effect and absence of TPF, a conservative trial under strict clinicoradiological monitoring in a neuro-critical multidisciplinary setting can be offered with good results. CONCLUSIONS: Due to the advancements in patient care, anesthesia and sterile techniques, surgical medical branches showed rapid development in the 1800s. During this period, cerebral localization concept changed the comprehension and approach in neurosurgery and opened the gate of a new era in the field of neurological surgery unlike other branches and helped to establish modern neurosurgery. 19th century surgeons became able to operate on more complex cases with more advanced techniques. CONCLUSION: The superiority of TLIF over PLIF may be evidenced by the lower rate of neurologic deficit, surgical technical aspects, less blood loss and shorter operation time. Cage migration, screw displacement, infection, and pseudoarthrosis may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the facility, the surgeon, and the instrumentation/ graft used, and do not appear to be different. The Effects of Regulating Increased Blood Glucose Levels on Plasma Endothelin-1 Levels After Severe Head Trauma in Rats
CONCLUSION: The increased ET-1 levels were significantly prevented by keeping blood glucose levels within normal limits with insulin after severe head trauma.
