EUS-guided gastroenterostomy for gastric outlet obstruction: a comprehensive meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: Although it is technically challenging, this largest meta-analysis indicates that EUS‑GE has comparable and high technical and clinical success rates and hence a very effective minimally invasive procedure for GOO.PMID:37310282 | DOI:10.1080/13645706.2023.2221336 (Source: Minimally Invasive Therapy and Allied Technologies)

AR visualizations in laparoscopy: surgeon preferences and depth assessment of vascular anatomy
Conclusions: More studies are needed on the effect of different visualizations on task performance, as well as more sophisticated and effective visualization techniques for the operating room. With the findings of this study, we encourage the development of new study setups to advance surgical AR.PMID:37293947 | DOI:10.1080/13645706.2023.2219739 (Source: Minimally Invasive Therapy and Allied Technologies)

Management of abdominal gas leakage from surgical trocars in laparoscopic surgery: a preclinical study
Conclusions: We confirmed gas leakage from trocars during device traffic. The scale of leakage increased with high intra-abdominal pressure and with the use of exhausted trocars. Current protection against gas leakage may not be sufficient and new surgical safety measures and device development may be needed in the future.PMID:37288765 | DOI:10.1080/13645706.2023.2211661 (Source: Minimally Invasive Therapy and Allied Technologies)

Clinical value of fluorescent cholangiography for the infraportal type of right posterior bile duct
CONCLUSIONS: The application of fluorescent cholangiography can lead to safe SILC, even for patients with infraportal RPBD. Its benefit is emphasized when infraportal RPBD is connected to the common bile duct.PMID:37288773 | DOI:10.1080/13645706.2023.2217915 (Source: Minimally Invasive Therapy and Allied Technologies)
