Quantitative assessment of nitrous oxide levels in room air of operation theaters and recovery area: An observational study
Conclusion: We observed the very high ambient concentration of N2O in the surgical theatre's environment (up to 2443 ppm) and recovery areas (up to 50 ppm). It was 5 to 50 times higher ambient concentration of N2O than REL in OT area and 200-7000 times higher ambient concentration of N2O than outdoor ambient air in all surgical theaters other than CTVS OTs. Assessment of squalor in migrant colonies of Thiruvalla Province of Kerala, India using rapid survey technique
Conclusion: Only two colonies (n = 15) were squalor free. Majority of the dwellings (n = 210) were having an ECCS score between 13 and 15. Exposure to toluene di-isocyanate and respiratory effects in flexible polyurethane foam industries in Western India
Conclusion: The TWA concentration of TDI exceeded at raw material storage, mixing, foaming, block cutting and curing areas in four out of seven industries even in the presence of local exhaust systems.
