AbstractSalivary gland tumor pathology is one of the most challenging areas in all head and neck surgical pathology. Compounding its inherent difficulty are numerous novel entities, variants and concepts, most of which have been based on recent molecular discoveries. This review will serve to update the practicing pathologist on a selected group of emerging entities in salivary gland tumor pathology.
