[MSF] In September 2018, nurse Awa Abou Amadou was working at the M édecins Sans Frontières (MSF) paediatric unit in Magaria in southern Niger. It was her most challenging experience as a nurse. "We used to admit around 140 children a day. It wasn't easy," she says. Among other nurses and medical personnel, she worked for long hours straight -- sometimes from dusk till dawn and beyond.
