Academic Medicine Call for Volunteer Assistant Editors

Academic Medicine is seeking applications for volunteer assistant editors. The assistant editor role is characterized by Working closely with the editor-in-chief, associate editors, and editorial staff on matters related to manuscript review and decision-makingStrengthening experience and skills related to writing, reviewing, and editing content for scholarly publicationAttending annual Academic Medicine editorial board meetings Successful candidates will have experience reviewing for our journal and demonstrate a strong interest in medical education and scholarly publishing. Priority will be given to those who have expertise in qualitative or quantitative research methodologies. The assistant editor role is a one-year renewable appointment.
