Patient-reported outcomes for peripheral vascular interventions in the vascular quality initiative
The Society for Vascular Surgery Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) collects outcomes data for quality improvement and clinical research for a range of vascular procedures including open and percutaneous interventions for peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The VQI Peripheral Vascular Intervention (PVI) registry has collected data on endovascular treatment of lower extremity PAD since 2010. Outcome measures have historically included perioperative complications and 1-year outcomes such as symptom status, vessel patency, reintervention, limb salvage, and survival.
