Response to letter to the Editor re' 15-year varicocelectomy outcomes in pediatric age: Beware of genitofemoral nerve injury'
We would like to thank the author for the interest in our paper regarding nerve injury after laparoscopic varicocelectomy [1] and for the pertinent comments made. Nerve injury after laparoscopic surgery is, in fact, a known but commonly neglected complication of various procedures [2 –5]. The cause of this lesion is frequently not identified. In light of the comments made to our paper, we would like to clarify some details about the 3 cases of nerve injury reported by us.
