Multi-Arterial Grafting in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: Playing the Long Game

We would like to thank Dr Formica and colleagues for their kind comments regarding our submission on measures to improve multi-arterial grafting (MAG) for coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).1 We agree that despite evidence, MAG is an underused approach and there are several barriers to the adoption of MAG. Some of these barriers include the increased technical complexity of the procedure, extended operative time, and surgeon preference. We hope that this contribution demonstrates that MAG use can be widely adopted, and provides encouragement and education toward that goal.
