Science is Ever Changing

I read with interest the article by Goertz et al., who methodologically provide an alternate analysis for a systematic review about spinal manipulative therapy for the management of nonmusculoskeletal disorders.1 I offer these comments having been involved in promoting research, including both musculoskeletal and nonmusculoskeletal conditions, beginning as early as 1973 with The Black Lung Conference Experimental Approaches to the Investigation of Chiropractic Management in Pneumoconiosis.2 My views are shaped by my education, history, politics, science, pragmatism, and professional experience but are ultimately derived from what I have concluded through fair objective research.
