Who should write a Survey of Ophthalmology review?

This issue includes two letters to the editor that raise issues with previously published reviews and the responses from their authors. Both letters challenge the reviews ’ interpretation of the relevant literature and also argue that, since their authors have not previously published on the specific techniques discussed, they should not be considered as experts.
