Moderna says Covid-19 vaccine is effective against new variants
Moderna Inc., the Cambridge-based maker of one of the two vaccines for Covid-19 that are now in use in the U.S., said Monday that studies of recipients of the vaccine suggest that it provides some protection against two of the newer, faster-spreading variants of the coronavirus.
