Weighing the risks and benefits of an anticoagulation protocol for a radial access first approach for the endovascular management of trauma patients
We read with interest the recent article on the safety and efficacy of radial access for angioembolization in trauma patients by Adnan et al.1 The authors are to be congratulated on demonstrating a feasible and low-risk alternative access for endovascular treatment in this critical patient population who often have complicated groin anatomy, making standard femoral access more challenging or undesirable.
