Feasible and Appropriate Strategies for Implementing Evidence-Based Practices in Nursing Homes

The uptake of evidence-based practice(s) (EBPs) in “real-world” settings requires the use of feasible and appropriate implementation strategies.1 But, identifying implementation strategies is often a challenge for researchers and clinicians.2 The Expert Recommendations for Implementing Change (ERIC) strategies were developed3 to identify impleme ntation strategies that work well across diverse settings and populations. There is limited evidence, however, on which ERIC strategies are feasible and appropriate in the context of the nursing home (NH) setting.
