Herbal Medics Sam and Suchil Coffman: AHG Community Service Award

This year the CSA Selection Committee specifically sought organizers who lead by example in building a sense of unity and purpose within their community while promoting social responsibility and outreach to others in need. After reviewing many nominations we found that Herbal Medics embodies the spirit of this award exceptionally. The work of Herbal Medics in granting selfless assistance to others, addressing health care issues through sound herbal education while teaching students to carry out a mission of aid and care stands out amongst peers. We congratulate Sam and Such Coffman of Herbal Medics as the 2020 recipients of the Community Service Award!Sam Coffman founded and runs a survival and herbalism school (The Human Path& Herbal Medics Academy) offering wilderness medicine training, herbal clinics, online and on-campus programs throughout central Texas and around the USA.   Sam also co-founded the outreach organization, “Herbal Medics.”  This organization applies integrative medicine to help medically underserved communities in the USA and abroad.  Herbal Medics sends teams to medically underserved locations (both remote and post-disaster) to provide free herb al clinics and classes, off-grid water purification methods, off-grid power& building, sustainable agriculture planning and education.Suchil Coffman is the Director for The Human Path as well as Herbal Medics Academy.
