Applying the Goldilocks Principle to Narcotic Prescription after Breast Surgical Oncology Cases Achieve Both Patient and Provider Goals
Data on the appropriate quantity of narcotics to prescribe after breast surgical oncology cases (BSOC) is lacking. Furthermore, earlier studies have failed to assess both patient and provider viewpoint when considering changes to prescribing practices. Our aim was to appropriately decrease the narcotic quantity prescribed after BSOC, considering both patient and provider goals.
